About the study

The ITR Team

We are identifying twins born in Minnesota and enrolling them in the Twin Registry at the University of Minnesota. Future projects will recruit twin infants enrolled in the registry for research on (for example) neurobehavioral development during infancy and early childhood, infant and child temperament, and parent-child relationships.

Who we are contacting for this study

We are currently locating and enrolling twin infant families to our new registry of twin infants born in Minnesota in the 2020s.

Are we agreeing to participate in a research study right now?

No. At some future date, there may be opportunities to participate in research studies through the University of Minnesota, in which case we would contact you to describe the research. All participation is completely voluntary. You have the right to decline to participate in any research study.

Can we still sign up even though we moved away from MN and/or don’t currently live in MN?

Yes. As long as the twins were born in MN, they are eligible to be part of our registry.
